Some Happy Times

We took the kids to an indoor poor on Saturday. Theo said he had been swimming before, but it was a completely new and very loved experience for Blessing. Doesn't she look like she is having fun?

The kids are also liking the backyard now that the weather is a little warmer. Hooray for a slide and a swing!!!

Why the new blog

On January 24th, 2011, I arrived home from Liberia, West Africa with my two beautiful children. Three years of prayer had been answered.
When my 17 month old was terrified of them and my 12 year old fell into tears in my arms the first day, because, "the house felt so different with them here," I realized this is not the end of the story. This is the first meeting. The rest has been back story. We still have the misunderstanding and character conflict before we reach our true "Happily Ever After."
I thought our adjustment might be helpful or at least amusing for people to read.
How often does it happen that when our prayers are answered, we ask ourselves the question, "So, now what do I do?"
